Introducing 🌱PHILO🌱
PHILO is a female owned and operated local plant shop located in Newtown, Ohio. PHILO was started in October of 2019 by Savannah Chambers. Savannah started by collecting Hoya’s for over a decade and branching into online retail. Overtime, Savannah realized a physical storefront was what she needed to better herself and the business. Since 2019, Savannah has been able to not only work through a worldwide pandemic, but has made new friends along the way and even opened a new shop. When asked what she loves most about the business, she explained in two words… “the people.” PHILO offers a wide variety of plant types ranging from small succulents, to beautiful Monsteras. The store is also one of the only stores in the tri-state area that offers rare Aroids. Savannah’s business is truly special, and the plant inventory is something to behold. Whether stopping in the store, or browsing from online, PHILO is a business that caters to all plant lovers.
